History

JCS Tool and Manufacturing Corporation (JCS) was founded in 1969, and is located in Essexville, Michigan. Several years after its inception, JCS began to expand its business with the addition of more machinery and employees. Today JCS has 40 employees and its core competency is the fabrication of pipe fittings, lined and unlined for large industrial customers. We are able to purchase up to date machinery, and provide good benefits to our employees in order to stay competitive.

The purchase of at least one new machine each year and top of the line technology helps JCS stay competitive. In 1989 JCS realized that in order to remain competitive in their industry, they needed to include information systems to help manage and maintain their corporation. Computers were purchased and have been updated since which now includes a large network of computers. In the same line of computers JCS has a time clock system allowing them to monitor their employees production times on each job. This data is used for job pricing and to see how the company is performing. As a result of always thinking ahead, the only thing we are looking back at is our competitors. In 2001, JCS updated to e-mail to better service their customers.

Currently JCS resides on 3.5 acres of land, and has 50,000 square feet of buildings. They have a wide array of machinery which they continue to add to on a yearly basis.
